The fair is held in the de Young’s Piazzoni Murals Room. Admission is free and FAMSF members receive a 10% discount on all purchases. Every purchase helps support FAMSF collections and exhibitions.
Highlights include:
•Lundberg Studios crafts beautiful glass in their Davenport, California studio. Design styles range from Tiffany-inspired to Art Deco to contemporary. They have refined the art of making quality glass by using a blend of techniques both traditional and innovative.
•Alice Roche offers a contemporary line of jewelry inspired by both the natural and built environment. Handcrafted in her Mission District studio in San Francisco, Roche’s designs complement and enhance the everyday lifestyle of the modern woman. Her architectural jewelry is composed like a pencil sketch, capturing line weights, movement, texture, and positive and negative space. The result is a melding of simplicity and uniqueness creating a balanced statement of confidence and individuality.
•Located in one of San Francisco’s historic shipyards, Kimberly Austin creates beautifully crafted ephemera on her vintage presses. Inspired by a collection of rare books and alphabets, Austin Press offers a rich assortment of ready-to-write and custom tailored note cards.
•The force behind Deborah Cross's clothing collection is the manipulation of color and texture. Inspired by this unique dynamic of texture and color, each collection is one element of an extended process of examining and rethinking previous design decisions. She strives for an architectural, feminine, modern feel that transcends seasonal trends and has universal appeal.
